Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, Director of St. Louis Lambert International Airport, announced today that she will retire in the fall of 2026. Hamm-Niebruegge has served as Airport Director since 2010.
St. Louis Lambert International Airport is one of the region’s largest and most critical economic assets. Hamm-Niebruegge has guided the development of the work to transform the airport into a new, single-terminal facility, a project vital to attracting new businesses and residents to St. Louis and driving inclusive economic growth.
Leaders from St. Louis’ business community congratulated Hamm-Niebruegge on her retirement:
“I want to congratulate Rhonda on a tremendous career directing our airport and thank her for her hard work and dedication. The airport is one of the region’s strongest assets and Rhonda has been an important partner to the business community in our pursuit to connect St. Louis to the world,” said Andy Taylor, Executive Chairman of Enterprise Mobility and Founding Chair of GSL.
Lal Karsanbhai, President and CEO of Emerson and Chair of GSL’s Airport Transformation Committee, added: “Our airport is the first thing many visitors see when they come to St. Louis and sets the tone for how they view our region. We thank her for her commitment to St. Louis and wish her well in her next chapter.”
